Welcome to Commonspace Warren!
We’re so glad you’re here!
Below is some information that will help you acclimate with your new community.
Basic Information About CS Warren
Complimentary Building Wifi
Network: CSWarrenResidential
Password: welcomeHome351#
Please do not connect a router to our network. A router on our network can cause interference and can even cause the entire network to shut down, impacting everyone in the building.
Building Access
The main building entrance automatically locks at 5pm and opens at 8am every weekday and remains locked on weekends. Your Latch app will get you in the main lobby outside of business hours and onto all residential floors of the building. We highly recommend memorizing your Latch door code for use when you may not have your phone with you. This code is specific to you and cannot be changed, you can locate it by navigating to the menu in your Latch app and selecting “my door codes”. Do not give this code out. You can give guests their own code through the app.
You also have Latch access to the other 2 Commonspace Buildings on the block so you can use the common areas or for attending Monthly Mixers.
Maintenance
For any maintenance issues, please submit a service request through the Appfolio tenant portal.
In the event of an emergency, our 24-hour maintenance can be reached by phone at: 800.674.3350, select option 1.
Deliveries & Mail
Your mail and packages will be delivered to the resident mailroom, which is on your left when you enter the CS Warren lobby, just before you’ve reached the elevators. The code to the mail room is 3141.
All major carriers have access to the building outside of business hours, so you don’t need to worry about coordinating with them.
Trash & Recycling
Trash and recyclables can be discarded on the basement level. The trash room is located in the area right when you exit the elevator. Please adhere to proper rules; fold cardboard, rinse recyclables, and place in proper receptacles.
CS: Thrive
What makes Commonspace unique? Our community. Everyone at Commonspace has come with the desire to feel as though they’re part of a community. Our goal is for you to connect amongst yourselves. We want you to feel comfortable asking your neighbor for a spoon full of sugar or inviting them to join you for a game of Settlers of Catan- that’s what Commonspace is all about, after all. The best way to create community is by engaging with your neighbors.
Want to have a whiskey and philosophy night in the library, perhaps? Or maybe a farm to fork dinner in the kitchen, or a painting class on the rooftop? Send us a note at info@commonspace.com and let’s chat about how we can help get your idea off the ground!
Slack
You were invited to join the Slack “channel” associated with your building, as well as the “CS-All” channel. This is a great place to connect and communicate with your new community. “CS-All” contains the entire Commonspace Community, including members of Commonspace Work and other Commonspace buildings. You’ll also notice a few special interest channels- such as “gardening club”. Feel free to join any channel that piques your interest- and if you’d like to start a new channel, let us know at info@commonspace.com.
Management does not use Slack as primary communication. If maintenance is required, please submit a service request via your Appfolio tenant portal. If management’s attention is required, please email info@commonspace.com.
Maintaining a Secure Building
You are a good person, we know. But, as a matter of building security please do not hold the door open for anyone you do not know when the doors are locked. The unhoused population often look for dry/warm places to spend the night and will, on occasion, attempt to get into all the buildings downtown after hours. Our hearts go out to those less fortunate, most of whom are not ill-intentioned and are not dangerous, but they are still trespassing, and we do need to maintain a secure premise for all our tenants.
So, a couple reminders.
1) Please do not let anyone into the building that you do not know. Folks will often wait until someone is walking in and follow behind them or if they see someone is in the lobby, they will pull on the door and act as if they are supposed to be inside. The good in most of us will open the door or hold the door for others.
2) Never prop open a locked door, lobby or stairwell
3) If someone does get inside and you find them in a stairwell or common area, please treat them with respect and call the police at 911. This is the best course of action because they are trespassing.
4) If you see someone in the building who you think should not be there during business hours, please reach out to us- email or phone or go to the CS Office on the 2nd Floor.
As you acclimate with your new community, never hesitate to reach out if you have questions or concerns.
Thanks for being here!
-Your Commonspace Team

Good Neighbor Punchlist
A quick guide on how to be a Commonspacer
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the “Good Neighbor Punchlist” below. Many of the items will probably be familiar to you already, as they were outlined in your lease agreement. As a community of accountability, please make sure you’re doing your part to be a good neighbor, and if you have an issue with your neighbors, please attempt to resolve with them before bringing the issue to management’s attention. We find that issues are often resolved much more softly on a peer level.
* Guests are always welcome! Please ensure they remain in the company of a resident while in common areas.
* Entrances, hallways, and common areas should be kept clear of personal belongings so that the space remains welcoming to other residents and their guests. Shoes are permitted outside of unit door; but must remain tidy.
* Please promptly remove laundry from machines so that they’re available for other members of your community to use. Don’t forget to clear the dryer screen out, too, to minimize the risk of fire!
* Common area furniture and any furnished private or common room furniture should not be moved, altered, or used for anything but it's intended use. If there is furniture in your unit that you wish to have removed, please do not place it in the common areas. Send us a note & we’ll have it removed for you!
* Any food or goods left in the common kitchen are considered available for any other community member to use or consume. Consider sending a note to your community on Slack if you have something extra you’d like to share!
* If you notice a need for management’s attention in the common areas, please submit a service request via your Appfolio tenant portal.
* Please do not smoke, this is a non-smoking property.
* Please return common areas to the state in which you found them so that the next resident can enjoy the space in the same manner.
Dishes should be washed and returned to their proper storage locations.
Any garbage, debris, materials or tenant belongings brought into the common areas should be removed when the resident and/or their guest(s) leave the common areas.
* Be mindful of other residents’ right to peaceful enjoyment of their space by observing quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
* Please don’t sleep in the common areas.
* Pets are not permitted on the 6th floor, nor are they permitted in common areas or on common area furniture. Please clean up after your pet and keep them on a leash at all times!
Commonspace is a community of accountability. If you feel that someone isn’t being a good neighbor, try asking them politely to address the issue. When all else fails, your management team is here to help navigate repeated issues.
The Commonspace Ambassador Program
Our goal is to make "community" the differentiating factor of Commonspace- a "neighborhood in a building".
Meet Your Ambassadors
Sara
Sara lives at CS Warren. On weeknights, you can find her staying up to date on all the drama of Selling Sunset or laughing way too hard at sitcoms. On weekends, she enjoys trying out new recipes and exploring downtown with her CS neighbors. She doesn’t understand the rules of football, but she still loves to cheer on the Buffalo Bills. Sara loves making new friends, so please reach out!
Kasee AKA "Lev"
She is a Reclusive English major cat lady with a coffee addiction who writes fantasy novels of the year. She has been told she is a pleasure to have in class but sources can neither confirm nor deny. She moved from Commonspace Warren to Commonspace Montgomery earlier this year and has been a resident of Commonspace for two years. Allegedly.
